The Spirituality of Wisdom

The spirituality of the Daughters of Wisdom is that of
living from the centre of our beings, where the Mystery we call
God is, and finding this Wisdom God active in ordinary everyday
events.
We see all reality, creation, humankind, the joys and
struggles of life, as interconnected, sacred reality.
We walk in the steps of our founders, St Louis Marie
Grignion de Montfort and Blessed Marie Louise Trichet.

Flowing from their mystic inspiration, which includes a
true and loving devotion to Mary, we seek and contemplate Wisdom
present in a world that hungers for meaning, justice, love and
compassion.
Wisdom is the name we use to describe God’s active
engagement with the world, creating, redeeming, guiding,
pervading and present in all Creation.
Wisdom enables us to cope with life’s experiences,
discern what is the right and just thing to do, when and how to
do it.
To walk in Wisdom’s way means to see the mystery in
everyday things.
It asks of us integrity, justice, fidelity and
gentleness
Jesus Christ, whom we come to know through the
Scriptures, is our Wisdom Teacher.
The Gospel writers portrayed Jesus, as God’s Wisdom in
human flesh.
We look at Jesus and say ‘GOD is one with us.
God is one of us.
We see in Jesus, Wisdom made flesh in the womb of Mary,
his Mother, God’s total involvement in the world.
All matter, all flesh, is shot through with Divinity.
Christ, Wisdom is cosmic; Christ, Wisdom is within us.
